These Bible-focused poetry workshops are perfect for inspiring your kids church or youth group to give glory to God through writing and art. Presentations will be tailored specific to the age group.

• Each workshop is a 90-minute, interactive writing session.
• Workshop time is structured to include a mix of: presenting biblical truths, developing the craft of poetry, author-guided student writing, and free writing. For students who prefer visual expression, illustrating options will also be available during both the guided and free writing times. (Note: It is the host church or Christian school’s responsibility to provide the writing and/or art supplies.)
• Workshops end with a Prayer, Praise, & Worship: Poetry & Art Share open mic. Students may choose their participation comfort level—whether reading their poetry, showing their art, or just listening and watching.

Make it a creative camp!

Combine multiple workshop sessions into a 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day creative camp experience for your kids ministry or youth ministry.

You provide the space at your church, Christian school, or other off-campus location. You provide the writing and/or art supplies, AND invite up to 60 students max (with a minimum of 1 volunteer for every 30 students) for this special creative camp. I will lead students through a time of Bible exploration and connecting to God through writing and/or illustrating.

Workshop times are structured to include a variety of author presentation, Bible exploration, student writing/illustrating and sharing, author and peer feedback, and personal reflection.

Creative camps are hands-on/immersive writing and illustrating experiences.

3-Day Creative Camp: Includes all 5 workshops

• Friday evening: Workshop 1
• Saturday: Workshops 2, 3, & 4
• Sunday morning: Workshop 5 (during the regular church service hour—all Sunday morning attendees welcome regardless of whether or not they have participated in the rest of the camp.)

2-Day Creative Camp: Includes 4 workshops. Can be scheduled to run EITHER from Friday evening through Saturday OR from Saturday morning through Sunday morning during the regular church service hour (all Sunday morning attendees welcome regardless of whether or not they have participated in the rest of the camp).
